Spring is in the air; the daffodils are starting to bloom, and more residents are making use of the green areas here at Wynyard Park. To make the most out of spring on site we’ve collated a few things to do around the park.
Woodland tracks
Take some time outdoors and explore the tracks we have on your own doorstep, gather the family and the dogs and take a walk into the two woodland tracks here on site. We’re looking forward to adding more tracks in the future and will keep you updated as these become available!
Cycling
Fancy a cycle around the park but don’t own a bicycle? We have free bicycles hire available from our welcome lodge, take some time out and enjoy a cycle around the woodland tracks and the park.
Wildlife watch
Did you know the area has been wooded for at least 150 years and is included within the Tees Valley Strategic Wildlife Corridor? It provides a range of habitats including both broadleaved and coniferous trees. If you’re lucky enough to capture any of the wildlife on the park, please send us your photos and don’t forget to tag us in your social media posts too.
Resident’s garden
Our resident’s garden provides a tranquil area where you can take a moment on one of the benches admiring the views of the planted flower beds, take a stroll around the pathways or watch the world go by under the oak pagoda.
Golf
Spend more time outdoors and de-stress, head to Wynyard Golf Club for a round of golf.
Wynyard outdoor spa
There’s something really relaxing about a spring time spa, luckily, Wynyard Hall is just a stone’s throw away. Relax and unwind in their outdoor spa area located on the edge of Wynyard Hall’s lake.
With Spring just around the corner, make the most out of it on park and in the local area, please continue to tag is in your social media posts as we love to see you make the most of life on the park.
